Linkvana: SEO Nirvana Nirvana

By Jason Q. Arnett

Those of us who make our money with SEO know the huge importance of getting good links back to our websites. We also know how difficult that can be sometimes.

I don't recommend relying on only one method to get links back to your sites. In fact I think it's best to combine as many different methods as you are able to use.

For example I would not rely only on article marketing (although clearly I do think it's an important part of building backlinks or I wouldn't be writing the article you are reading now.)

A link building service I have been using lately with a lot of success is Linkvana which is sort of the "Rolls Royce" of blog networks. If you've used blog networks before with awful results I want to let you know that I too have had that experience. But Linkvana is a different kind of blog network.

What makes Linkvana different than the others? Quite a few things but there are three things that really make it stand out. The first is the quality of the sites in the network. The second is how easy the system is to use. The third are the rules & precautions that the system has in place to make sure that it continues to work for a long time to come.

#1 High Quality Blogging Network: There are a lot of blog networks out there that filled with PR0 blogs which have nothing but duplicate content on them. Links from these kinds of blog networks are almost useless. The high quality of the domains in this network really sets it apart.

#2 Intuitive Website: I've tried a lot of different link building services and many of them have irritatingly complex interfaces which require a good deal of learning time. That's not the case with this one. It's hard to think of how it could be any more easy to use.

#3 Strict Usage Rules: It may be easy to see all of the rules included as a negative at first but once you realize that they ensure the long term health of the service by keeping people from abusing the system you will see that these rules are actually a great positive.

There's no "magic bullet" to search engine optimization. You should use a combination of method to build your link popularity but I have no qualms about recommending this blog network as a part of what you should do.

Linkvana Will Improve Your SERPS

By Jason Q. Arnett

If you make your living largely through SEO like I do then you know how important is to get good back links to your website. You also know how difficult it can be to get those good back links.

I definitely do not think it's a good idea to just rely on one or two ways of getting links back to your websites. I recommend combining as many methods as you can for the best results.

For example I would not rely only on article marketing (although clearly I do think it's an important part of search engine optimization or I wouldn't be writing the article you are reading now.)

A link building service I have been using lately with a lot of success is Linkvana which is sort of the "Porche" of blog networks. If you've used blog networks before with bad results I want to let you know that I too have had that experience.

#1 High Quality Blogs In The Blog Network: There's no point in getting backlinks from a bunch of domains with no power to give out. That's what really sets apart this network the most. The sites where you will be placing your posts (and your links) are sites that have a pagerank of at least 2 (and as high as 5) and a domain that is at least one year old (some are as old as 7 years.)

#2 Easy To Use: It's hard to imagine an interface that is more intuitive and easier to use than this one. It's goodto be able to just jump in without worrying about having to learn the system.

#3 The Rules: While you may look at all of the rules as a hindrance, the truth is they are what keeps the websites in the network in good standing so that the links you get back will continue to be strong links for some time to come.

There is not just one solution to search engine optimization. But this is definitely a part of the solution. And it's only available to 300 members so it's important to take action as fast as you can if you want to have it as one of your tools.

How to Increase Sales Through Streaming Audio

By Steve Blalock

Many studies have proven that radio is a good medium for product advertisements. People listen to radio for entertainment, usually to listen to the latest music or to their favorite radio program. In between the program, advertisements on products and services are being played.

For years, this has been the trend in advertising. But now that the radio medium is almost behind the audio-visual medium, the TV, and the Internet, other marketing strategies have to be employed to continue the benefits of advertising through audio.

During that time the benefits of using music on websites were discovered. Before, music on the Internet was just available in downloadable forms as mp3. Even through hosting downloadable music on their servers, companies were able to get much traffic on their sites. And everyone engaged in Internet marketing knows that website traffic plays a big role in boosting product and service sales.

However, there has been a problem with illegal music downloads in which artists, musicians and record companies have lost millions of revenues.

Then, came the popularity of Internet music streaming. Unlike the former mp3's, radio streaming does not allow download of the music files. Thus, the copyrights of the artists and record label owners are protected.

So, how can this be done? There are several ways to stream audio from your site. The first way is to stream a radio program from your site or blog. You can find free affiliate programs that allow you to stream their radio content from your site.

What will this mean to you? This means your site will have new audio content every time it is visited. What's even great is that the content is being updated even without much effort from you.

In this case, what you need to do is to signup with an Internet radio station and have the link embedded on your blog or website.

Another way is to stream mp3s. To do this, you just need to upload your mp3files on a server and add the files' links to the page. When the link is clicked, the browser opens a media player window and plays a file. Since the file is in mp3 format, it may also be downloaded. Downloading music files without the authorization of the copyright owner is illegal. Therefore, if you will be using this type of streaming, make sure that you have the appropriate permit to do so.

A third way to add audio to your blog or website is to stream music through organizing playlists. Playlists are m3u files, which if downloaded, will not play music if offline. Using this process, however, can be complex. Here is a short instruction on how to do it.

1. Save your mp3 or wma file on the server. You may skip this step if you know that the file exists on another server and know the link to that file. Make sure that the link has a .mp3 or .wma extension.

2. Open your text editor and type the path to the file. Include the http:// and the file extension. Repeat this step until you have included all the links to the files that you would like to be included in the playlist.

3. Save the playlist with a .m3u extension.

4. Upload the m3u file on the directory where the music files are hosted or to your server.

5. Open your html editor and embed the link to the m3u file. Through this, you can also set if you want to have the playlist to autoplay if someone visits your site of if you want your visitor to control playing the music. You can also set the volume level.

After the code is embedded on the html file the songs in the playlist will be buffered, streamed and played one after another. If your playlist has several songs, the user can skip forward or go back a song in the playlist using the media player controls.

Doing this setup works for many website owners. Through this you can customize the type of music being played on your site. You can even play recordings related to your product to boost awareness.

It requires knowledge of html to be done. But if it will be the best way to increase traffic to your site, why not request assistance from programmers. After all, having audio on a website is a proven way to increase sales.

Network Marketing In A Home Office

By Ulan Gnomes

Network marketing is online marketing and old methods are now making room for new ones. Old school network marketing does not allow people to work from home and very often there were many extras to be done.

It was a real hassle for the construction of a line down of faithful customers. Hours on the phone, rejection after rejection, meetings in person, it is very slow and old ways of doing business through network marketing.

Well, actually the truth is that there are still some who prefer it this way, they actually like the old way but it's probably because they fear the new and don't like change.

For those who want to work at home, put in less effort while making a lucrative income, they must follow industry trends and they are changing.

The basics are still the same and while nothing forms a better customer relationship like face to face encounters, the Internet is allowing a much faster trust base to be formed.

Conduct your network marketing out of the house, you can always find solid prospects instantly and customer relationships begin to form. You'll probably still have to do some telephone contacts with them and if they are local, perhaps even a luncheon.

The integration of these two methods is the same and creates nothing but a win-win situation. Internets today are powerful tools and they enable people to change their whole scope of how they work.

Since network marketing has hit the Internet, more and more people are working from home and loving it. So they teach you right over the Internet exactly what to do.

The Internet allows someone to use products and / or services that are already in place for the customers. How do you get these customers is already written for you. This is a franchise online!

Again, working in your home office and use of the Internet allows global markets to your access within a few seconds. When you find a product or service that you feel well about remember the owners of the franchise online want you to be very successful because too, it is more for them.

There is already a system that works. If you choose this business, you can work at home and in case of start-up money, it will be minimal. There is really no way to make mistakes and you work from the luxury of your own home during your own hours.

Tight Budgeted Home Business

By Eric Gardner

Starting up a business at home can be difficult. People usually start a home business for two reasons: one to supplement their current income and the other is because they are unemployed.

Many people shun away from starting their own home based business because they think they don't have the start up capital to get going. There are ways though that you can start that business of your dreams with very little start up money.

Delete all the possibilities that you ask for a start-up costs. It is almost guaranteed to rip you off.

They are completely filled with lies after a promotion which is hyped up. Of course, you'll need a Web page and accommodations but keep in mind that there are places where you can go step by step and design your own Web page, even with little or no skills.

Hosting packages will run sometimes about $40. You don't need to pay all that much for hosting. You can usually get a good hosting program for about $5 per month.

Buy your field of business for a period of ten years because you get a price much better this way. Along with saving you some money you have also the fact that you expect to be in business for a long time.

This indicates that you have faith in yourself and that is a good thing. Your home business should not be expensive to start.

It will be much more affordable to run from the house then renting an office and starting this way. The truth is that most people do not want to draw a lot of money out of their pocket when they start their business.

Make a budget and stick with it, it can be easily overrun if you don't. Always keep track of what you spend so you can figure your exact profits later.

If you are estimating how much money that you think you will make, always go on the low side. The good news is that you might already have a lot of what you need to get started just sitting around the house.

The basics include a computer with Internet access, a printer, maybe a fax machine, a little space to call an office, and you're ready to go. Even if you need business cards, search online and you will see that you can get 500 business cards for free if you pay shipping and handling.

Print Newsletters: A Winning Customer Retention Tool

By David B. Ascot

I spend a lot of time helping our clients set up web-based lead generation mechanisms, but there is a very important offline strategy which I would recommend to any business:

A monthly newsletter.

Keep in mind here that I am not talking about the kind of nonsense which commonly passes as a newsletter, but rather something which prospective and current clients will eagerly look forward to receiving and reading every month.

ESPECIALLY if you're in an "information-centric" industry with a high average transaction value, newsletters can add huge value to clients AND stack up well economically for you.

A simple 3 to 5 pages of content, some relevant material reprinted from other sources and you have a formula which will actually attract and retain the interest of prospects.

Publishing a newsletter does take time and money, but the return on your investment will make this a very worthwhile endeavor. One of my print newsletters which I sent to a client resulted in a $72,000 contract! You could argue that I would have gotten this contract anyway; even so, I'd rather get that big contract now instead of down the road - wouldn't you?

Once you've put together the newsletter, printing postage costs are not very high; a few dollars per issue at most.

Again, depending on your industry, you can even make the whole process cashflow positive by selling subscriptions to non-clients for, say, $37 per month on a good-till-cancelled basis. As long as you can create enough value to make the subscription price pales in comparison, it's a goer. 1,000 subscribers @ $37 per month equals a $444,000 annual revenue stream. Sure, getting 1,000 people to sign up to your newsletter isn't easy - you have to be great at what you do and great at marketing what you do.

But even if you only had enough subscribers to pay for the cost of the mailing, wouldn't that be worth the value of keeping in touch with customers on a regular basis?

No, this will come off as heretical from a 'internet guy' like me, but sometimes email is not the tool you need. While it's perfectly good for keeping contact with prospects, once you have a paying clientele, a print newsletter is a good way to go - and an economically viable one.

Your customers can hold print newsletters in their hands, mark them up and annotate them, circulate them around the office with Post-It notes attached, and most importantly, NOT delete them from their overstuffed email inboxes (although the wastepaper basket is always within easy reach, so you have to be good.)

You can test the effectiveness of a print newsletter for your business by determining on a particular number of issues you're willing to commit to (maybe 6). If it doesn't pan out, no harm has really been done; plus you'll have some great autoresponder material already written for future use.

If you don't have the time to co-ordinate this, speak to a copywriting or marketing agency who can handle the whole strategy for you. (I'm even considering offering this as a packaged service to clients, but I'm not actively marketing this at the moment).

Give it a try - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the results.

The Overnight Cash System Official No Bull Gifting review

By DavidLeeTV

Being a "Baby" when it comes to "Internet" based cash gifting activities, and is a relative newcomer to automated type gifting activities. TOCS still utilizes the 1UP variety of cash gifting structure. $250 is the starting level and goes to $10,000 which is certainly a good range.

You are provided a replicated website to promote which is "catchy" in it's presentation and has numerous videos and audios as well as testimonials. A "toll free" number is provided for call backs into a team center so potential gifters can have questions answered.

There are many added costs involved with TOCS and The Overnight Cash System. Those can start at $200 and go to $1000 and simply depend on your starting tier. A recurring monthly charge of $29.95 is applied for the website, back office and tracking system. These are separate and not included in the the gift that is pledged.

A lower tier gifter might be attracted to the TOCS system because of the starting level of just $250. One of the great time saving features of The Overnight Cash System (TOCS) is their Call Back service which would be attractive to anyone with limited telephone experience.

And that call back feature would be the prominent one in The Overnight Cash System. This alone could make this a more hands off activity, at least at the outset with people that have limited phone skills or restricted hours of availability.

Disadvantage: Highly automated, the The Overnight Cash System, (TOCS) website has a used car salesman or slick feel to it. Many people are turned off by this, therefore the conversion is one of the lowest in the gifting world. The more successful activities have more one on one training and mentoring thus converting at a much higher rate than TOCS.

Some individuals are simply "put off" by all the additional fees associated with The Overnight Cash System (TOCS). A gifter coming in at the lower tier may have problems with this, hence the fact that their are entering the activity at such a low level.

Paying these higher fees are simply a negative issue for many. In today's gifting environment, most people want to speak to their gifter anyway, therefore the additional moneys paid to help facilitate the call back feature is somewhat wasted. The replicated websites just seem a bit "too slick" for many potential gifters out there.

The Overnight Cash System has put limiting restrictions on their marketing materials as well as their auto responder series. A gifter in the system is not allowed to personalize the messages that are sent out which really hurts someone that's trying to "brand" themselves.

Success in any cash gifting activity is possible. Needed is the right frame of mind, the right system and inviter. Oh yes, and it certainly never hurts to have a little money set aside for advertising. Unless a person has an unlimited amount of time on their hands, it does take some cash to get targeted traffic to your website.
